Alastair Taylor is a British Product Designer focussing on consumer related goods. He believes in designing products that are intuitive, bring enjoyment, and provide the best possible solution for the user.
After obtaining a BA in Product Design from the University of Plymouth, Alastair furthered his studies & experiences by enrolling for the Master in Design programme at Domus Academy, Milan, which he recently completed with a Distinction grade. He is now living & working in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Already he has spent time in Rome, Milan, Cologne & now Düsseldorf as well as his native UK and has exhibited at the New Designers exhibition (London), the Salone Satellite (Milan), and has featured in New Design magazine. During his time at Domus Academy he had the opportunity to work with Andrea Branzi, Mario Trimarchi & other large companies such as Design Group Italia & Sunstar (Japan).
Alastair has embraced the experience of living, studying and working abroad and believes his own strengths lie in his international viewpoint of design.
