Oral Care attracts increasing attention worldwide. Typically not executed three times a day as recommended by dentists, it is a daily routine that nowadays is quite often overlooked. Caused by the inconvenience, lack of means in public places and the image as a daily chore, Oral Care is not a mobile and flexible activity and is not effortless to perform.

With the new ‘Hyperdry’ technology from Sunstar, which is able to remove water from natural substances such as food or plants, the Japanese company gives an opportunity to explore new exciting possibilities in the field of dental hygiene. What if we were able to look after our teeth wherever and whenever we want?

By utilising the ‘Hyperdry’ technology the following project Opposites Attract wishes to remove the need for running water in this daily task and therefore tries to make the issue of Oral Care more flexible, user-friendly and convenient. By introducing various tools for dental care that can be used any time and anywhere Opposites Attract breaks with rituals and reveals a whole new culture in dental care which in time will evolve into a ‘New Tradition’.
